All classes are ADULTS ONLY (except 8A. & 8B. for kids) and are welcomed to BYOB and BYOF (friends!)  Slots in all workshops require pre-registration with payment, First/First Served, and a waiting list will be started when the class is full.  E-mail me with questions. Send your registration, register on-line or stop at the studio for the quickest to reserve your spot. When you come in, ask to us see samples of what you can create. You will be inspired!

Workshop Descriptions:
1 Qt. Casserole dishes will be an oval approximately 6” on the long side and 2” deep. Plenty of chance to carve, stamp or sculpt designs to make this your unique creation.

Workshop Descriptions:
This is a 6 week intensive beginners course in wheel throwing. Students should exhibit hand, wrist and neck strength. Plenty of pots will be made. Some humorously shaped!! and some rather nice! Bring your sense of humor!

Workshop Descriptions:
2 Coiled bowls one small and one larger will result from this ancient method of rolling out long “snakes” and coiling them into a shape. Be sure to ask to see samples when you register. Your creativity will reign.

Workshop Descriptions:
The 2 Pinch Bowls you make will be perfect for your granola, popcorn or any “catch-all” you deem. Pinching is done without tools. Only your hands will make these amazing bowls. Plenty of room for creative decorating.

Workshop Descriptions:
Roll out the clay, use a pattern to cut the pieces and assemble them into a useful dish garden. Choice of oval, round, square or rectangle. Stamped images can enhance the sides of your dish. Dishes will be approximately 2” tall.

What? These are made of paper….not clay! This is an amazing craft from Southeast Asia. They are the coolest thing! Stop by and look at the sample. 6-8 yrs
Young people and their adult partners will have fun making a cookie serving plate with clay, a rolling pin and stamps. Adult partners will actively participate and guide the project in the direction the child envisions. Quality time together.

9-14 yrs
Older children and their adult partners will be making 2 pinch pot bowls with stamping and sculpting figures on the sides. Adult partners will actively participate and guide the project in the direction the child envisions. Quality time.

Workshop Descriptions:
In this workshop you will decide how wide and tall this planter will be. Coiling is a wonderful skill that Nigerians used hundreds of years ago.  Once you get the hang of it, you can control its size and shape. Bring a hair dryer if you have one.

Star books are made from brightly colored origami papers. Simply folding each piece and assembling them, makes an awesome book that is a surprise to open! Add photos, poems, drawings, etc. on each page. These make excellent gifts.

This 2 day intensive is an in-depth workshop for making handmade paper and binding your paper into a useful book. 100% cotton, recycled paper and plant materials will be used. Gorgeous papers will result. When you register, you will receive a materials list of items to gather from home. If you collage, make cards or use watercolor paper for painting you won’t want to miss this workshop.

Psyanky is the ancient art of waxing and dying eggs for spring celebrations. These patterns were passed on from generation to generation and remain breathtaking today.
